Emil E. Hotkowski of Bensalem, PA. died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center with his family at his bedside after a long battle with cancer. He was 74. Emil was a member of the Bensalem Citizen Club. He also was a member of 2 bowling leagues. Emil loved flying and had a private pilot license. He enjoyed going to his grandson Kurtis’ baseball games and visiting his other grandson Connor in Vegas. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Emil was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Hotkowski, a sister-in-law, Rosie Toronto and her husband Tommy. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rita (nee Moyer) Hotkowski, and his children, Kevin Hotkowski (Sherry), Bill Galgon, and Cheryl Kovan (Bob). He is also survived by his grandsons Kurtis and Connor, one sister Barbara Karat (Richard), many nieces, one nephew and a sister-in-law Ruthann Schwartz (David) A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave, Penndel, PA 19047. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Emil’s memory be made to the St. Mary Cancer Center, 1201Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, Pa. 19047.
